Kenopsia is a personal music player built for iOS and iPadOS.

Data We Collect

None. Kenopsia does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to its developer.

Third-Party Services

Kenopsia optionally connects to third-party services that you configure yourself. These are governed by their own privacy policies:

• Last.fm — if you connect your account, your listening history is sent to Last.fm. See last.fm/legal/privacy.
• ListenBrainz — if you connect your account, your listening history is sent to ListenBrainz. See listenbrainz.org/privacy.
• Dropbox / Google Drive / OneDrive / Backblaze B2 — if you connect a cloud account, Kenopsia accesses only the audio files you have stored there. No data is shared with the app developer.
• LRCLIB — Kenopsia fetches synced lyrics from lrclib.net. The track title, artist, and album name are sent in the request.
• MusicBrainz / iTunes Search API — Kenopsia fetches album artwork using these public APIs. The album and artist name are sent in the request.

Local Storage

All app data (library, play counts, EQ settings, offline cache) is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account via App Group containers. It is never sent to the app developer.

Keychain

Credentials you enter (Subsonic passwords, cloud OAuth tokens, scrobbling tokens) are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only.

App Store Privacy

Kenopsia answers No to tracking and advertising in App Store Connect. The app does not use any advertising networks, does not share data with data brokers, and does not track users across apps or websites.
